SOFAST Trial

Ischemic stroke research

The purpose of this trial is to evaluate treatment outcomes in patients who present acutely with an ischemic stroke caused by large vessel occlusions when the Sofia Aspiration System is used as the first line technique.

Cerebral aneurysm research

The purpose of this trial is to establish the acute and sustained efficacy of embolization of small intracranial aneurysms with Microvention HydroSoft ad HyperSoft detachable embolization coils.

Carotid stenosis treatment registry

The Vascular Quality Initiative improves the quality, safety, effectiveness and cost of vascular health care by collecting, analyzing, and sharing data on pre-operative risk factors, intra-procedural variables, post-procedural outcomes, and one-year follow-up data.

Quantum-AF Study

Ischemic stroke research

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of a hospital quality improvement program on the use of oral anticoagulants in hospitalized patients with atrial fibrillation at risk for ischemic stroke. The study evaluates whether improved adherence to the guidelines for oral anticoagulant usage in atrial fibrillation will reduce the risk of ischemic stroke compared to the prior standard of care.
